Welcome to Houligirl’s Humble Abode!  I’m Eileen, the woman behind the blog and I’m happy you stopped by!  I live in a suburb of Westchester, NY, outside New York City.  One thing I love about living in the northeast is that I can create decorative changes in my home to coordinate with the four seasons.

I am fortunate to walk through this life married to my best friend and partner.  SuperHouls often joins me in facilitating  in projects and always puts up with “awesome ideas”.   We are newly empty nesters living with our two ragdoll cats, Romeo and Floyd.

I hope that sharing my ideas will provide inspiration and empower others to create their own beautiful, meaningful spaces.
